Impact of Mindfulness Training on EFL Learners’ Willingness to Speak, Speaking Anxiety Levels and Mindfulness Awareness Levels

There has been a rise of interest in mindfulness and its effects on the educational context during last several decades. The research study aims to investigate training EFL students’ level speaking anxiety, willingness speak target language, their levels awareness. perceptions participants were also investigated this study. In total, 41 sophomore students who studying Aviation Management Department (20 experimental group, 21 control group) participated taking General English Courses for 8 hours every week one state universities Black Sea Region, Turkey. To reduce risk bias, data gathered at different times from multiple sources; questionnaires, interviews. For quantitative data, Turkish adapted versions Mindfulness Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS), Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety (FLCAS), Willingness Communicate (WTC) utilized as pre post-tests. qualitative Semi-structured Interviews conducted. findings revealed that had positive effect participants’ speak, anxiety levels, mindfulness-awareness levels. Qualitative showed got huge benefits not only language learning but areas lives.
